Cute Homemade Valentines Gifts : Sweet Dreams Pillow

Sweet Dreams Pillowcase

Valentine’s Day was coming to a close and I had no idea what to get my boyfriend of 3 years! I thought and thought and thought and finally came up with the simple, most greatest gift! =) All you need is a pillow, pillow case, a computer and printer to work on, a scanned picture, and those kinds of paper that you iron on to fabrics. Well I put our picture in the middle and put I LOVE YOU BABY on the top and bottom...of course you can write what you please.

Cute Homemade Valentines Gifts : Paper Roses

Paper Roses

For our first Valentine's Day together my boyfriend gave me a dozen hand made roses. He traced his hands on red, white, and pink construction paper. Then cut the hands out and wrote "I" on one finger, a shape of a heart (for love) on the next finger, and "U" on the next finger (he put a heart on the thumb and an "!" on the pinky). He then took the hand cut outs and wrapped the base of the hands around clear straws and put them in a clear glass vase. He added clear marbles in the bottom of the vase and sprinkled Valentine’s Day confetti all over them. He bought a small red teddy bear with white hearts on it and wrapped the teddy bear around the vase and attached a huge "Happy Valentine's Day" balloon to the bear’s hand! I was so shocked when he came to my front door with paper flowers! I still have them and have refused to put them away...it's now 3 years later and we are still together!

Cute Homemade Valentines Gifts : Little Packets of Love

Little Packets of Love

I did this for Christmas, but you can really do this anytime, and the good thing about it is that a guy or girl can do it. It’s hard to find sweet things to do for your boyfriend that don't have to do with flowers or teddy bears. I wanted my boyfriend to know I love him, but in a creative way. So, I bought little mini bags of M&M's and on little pieces of paper I typed up reasons why I love him. For example, I love you because... when we kiss there’s still sparks. Then I punched holes in the corner of the papers and I tied one to each M&M bag with a piece of ribbon. To top it all off I put them all in a cute bag and gave it to him for an early Christmas present. He loved it, and it was a nice treat to read a new reason why I loved him with every candy he ate.

Cute Homemade Valentines Gifts : Heart Expressions

Heart Expressions

For one Valentine’s Day, my husband got red, pink & white paper and made 60 hearts. On each heart he wrote a memory that reminded him of me or a "love" coupon for many various things. I could pick one a day. He also put them in a vase with sweet-tart hearts, my favorite candy. It was the sweetest thing ever done for me.

Cute Homemade Valentines Gifts : Crayon Messages

Crayon Messages

I had no idea what to get my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day this year, so after a long while thinking I thought of a cute CHEAP idea. I bought a box of 64 (or other sizes) Crayola Crayons. On each crayon I wrote one reason why I loved him, or a memory of something we loved to do together. On the top of the box I wrote him a personal note saying that I loved him and I hope he enjoyed the present. Well he did, and he said he'd never use the crayons because he didn’t want to ruin them.
