For Valentine’s this year I went all out for my boyfriend of 6+ years. This last year he's been really great and I decided to show him how much I appreciate all that he's done. So I broke into my arts and crafts goodies and went hog wild. I made him a laminated book entitled "101 Reasons Why I Love You" with a "Dedication Page" and a "The End/Created By" page. I also laminated "Love Coupons" and put them on a ring for a whole bunch of stuff he likes and likes to do that I sometimes don't do enough for him. I also made 2 "Date Boxes": in the "Stay at Home Date Box", I put a table cloth/picnic blanket, tons of candy, a popcorn packet, a new DVD, a laminated card for a recipe for a dinner I'd make him (and told him he also had the option of a stay at home picnic), a "Love Dice Game" (that I also made by painting dice, and laminating a card, one side 1-6 body parts and the other side of the card 1-6 actions and putting it in a cute little heart-covered box). The "Going Out Date Box" was a pretty wooden box into which I put a ton of laminated "Going Out Ideas" which included everything from bowling, going to the movies, skating, to getting treats from different eateries, going to the library etc. I told him that he could combine coupons, but the total cost had to be less that $25. I also went to the dollar store, bought a clock, and printed up a picture of us and decorated the inside with it and stickers. I also bought him a little stuffed tiger that goes "Raar!" Lastly, I wrote him a poem that I laminated as well. He loved it all and could not stop hugging me and smiling, he felt so special that I took the time and effort to put it all together for him. Lucky me I had this site to help give me all these wonderful ideas. My only problem is: how do I top it for his birthday?

Wow those are great ideas! I don't know if I can be that creative though. I am a school teacher and I usually do a pretty good job being creative but that sure tops me. I may use a few ideas for this years Valentine's Day for my boyfriend. Thanks! ps- if you need some birthday or valentine's ideas I found this great website that has an awesome guide to Valentine's Day with gift ideas, restaurant finders and more. Check it out!
